With 16 years of extensive experience in elevator installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing, I have built a robust career in the elevator industry. I began my journey in November 2008 when I moved to Bermuda, where my passion for elevators took root.
I launched my career with Bermuda Elevator Systems (TKE), gaining hands-on experience through various projects, including the King Edward Memorial Hospital, SEON Place (Sir John Swan Building), and the Bermuda Police Headquarters, collaborating closely with D&J Construction. As these projects concluded, I transitioned to the maintenance and troubleshooting team, honing my skills further.
In 2014, I became the Vice President of Global Elevators, focusing on providing top-notch elevator services throughout the Caribbean from our base in Aruba. My commitment to exceptional customer service and reliability helped establish a strong reputation in the region. The following year, I founded Island Elevators B.V. in Sint Maarten, delivering quality products and services to clients, including Diamonds International, Manoah Boutique Hotel, and the Four Seasons Resort in Anguilla.
Unfortunately, in 2017, Hurricane Irma devastated the island, leading to the loss of my company. Shortly after, I returned to Bermuda to work with OTIS (BAS Group) as a Construction Manager/Sales Technician, overseeing significant projects such as repairs and modifications at the South Hampton and Hamilton Princess hotels, as well as installations at the Hamilton Medical Center and St. Regis Bermuda Resort.
In 2019, amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to return to Canada to further my education and professional development. I joined Vancor Elevators in Vancouver, specializing in elevator modifications and refurbishments, where I have contributed to numerous high-rise projects ranging from 13 to 32 floors. I have also dedicated myself to training future Bermudian technicians to help them achieve their CET certification.
Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to advancing in the elevator industry and fostering the next generation of technicians in Bermuda. My diverse experiences and commitment to excellence have equipped me to face challenges head-on while providing the highest level of service. As I continue to expand my knowledge and expertise, I am passionate about ensuring safety and reliability in elevator systems, contributing to the well-being of the communities I serve. I look forward to the future, where I can further my impact in the industry and support the growth of local talent.

Elevation offers comprehensive elevator certification programs as a proud member of the National Association of Elevator Contractors. This initiative provides local talent with the invaluable opportunity to achieve their Certified Elevator Technician (CET) classification, a credential that is highly regarded in the industry. The program is primarily focused on building up and further enhancing Bermudians' knowledge about elevator troubleshooting and safe work practices.
